I thought it worth "bookmarking" Keith's excellent cover versions on this thread:

Cool poem The extended haiku is groovy, and the imagery is...well...cool. To me, it seems like a commentary on how the ideal is to be such a conversationalist in the world, to become that accepted or that loved or that revered or whatever. Really, even in its simplicity you wrote a pretty complex piece there. Groovy shit (I even put in two fucking smileys...Im getting soft in my age...)

Question

Thank you for the kind words. For me, I'm getting at a sense of technology, and media having an effect on our [i]humanity[i]?? --I mean virtual has replaced living, in past-times, in learning, etc.-especially in children. For better or worse... but the impact is massive.

Default Jack Pratchard goes to Edinburgh

Hello the-the-ers

Just on the off chance anyone is passing through Edinburgh this August...

I'll be performing my one-man show JACK PRATCHARD at ZOO ROXY (Venue 115)
from August 6th - 30th at 1555

It's a paper theatre show which I think is a pretty fine way of spending 50 minutes in the afternoon.

If you're around - please come - and tell all your friends!

Good luck with that Jonny! I won't be there personally (unless I get lucky and work takes me to Edibnurgh for the second time in 18 years!), but good to know other members of the forum are a damn sight more creative than I am, I hope you draw a decent crowd!

Many thanks - i think there's about 2500 shows on this year, so i'm trying to convince myself that if we have just one or 2 people a day then that's ok!
