Over last few years, the collectors and connoisseurs of our lovingly-curated Official Bootleg series have grown steadily. For quite some time, Matt has envisioned a companion series, Esoteric Vaudeville* – which will be introduced soon. We have taken similar delight in designing and manufacturing this beautiful series, with the same utilitarian heavy card sleeves, enhanced with de-bossed foil logo and our holographic stamp of authenticity.
To house these companion series, it would only be fitting that the avid collector has a suitably fine home for them – the ‘Bootville’ Box fits the bill. Heavy black card, de-bossed foil details with the Official Bootleg logo on one side and the Esoteric Vaudeville logo on the other, it perfectly fits ten discs of either series – or a mixture of both – within a single box.
*Esoteric Vaudeville is a soon to be launched companion series to our Official Bootleg set. Featuring recordings that are just too experimental, obscure and, well … esoteric … to qualify for a full, commercial release. Instrumental soundscapes created in Studio Cineola’s sound laboratory using a selection of vintage tape recorders, shortwave radios, exotic synthesisers and eccentric instruments.
As with our Official Bootleg series, each volume will be mastered at Studio Cinéola, burned onto our classic white label ‘vinyl’ CDs and encased within our vintage-style heavy card sleeves, featuring a de-bossed foil logo and a holographic stamp of authenticity. A description sheet / track listing is included within each sleeve.
